I've not had any problems booting up with USB stuff plugged in. I often leave pen drives and/or dongles plugged in and it's never complained.

dangro474 has had boot problems with both his Vortex II and Vortex III

a friend of mine has had an issue with a HP laptop and the HP forums apparently say it’s a BIOS type problem.


But I’m glad to hear that it doesn't not affect all Vortex III
