What is your budget, uses and monitor?

great case btw
I don’t really have a budget but honestly I don’t need anything too crazy, I will not be doing 4K gaming haha.

I will use it for gaming mostly and occasionally office work.

I am going to buy the MSI Optix G27C4 27” monitor soon after the PC (but also open to changes on that)

I would advise against that monitor, it is 1080p. The jump from 1080p to 1440p is such an upgrade and a 3060ti would be wasted.

Do you care about looks? Rgb etc

What's the point in buying the worst monitor (1080p 27inch) with 3060 Ti, which is designed more for 1440p? If you're getting 3060 Ti, get a decent 1440p monitor.

Ohh okay thank your for the advice, what monitor would you suggest?

Honestly looks are not a priority, the only aesthetics I care about is having a white case.

If going for the 3060Ti why not go for a 1440p monitor, the samsung odyssey G5 is only about another £50

The entry level monitor for 1440p is the Samsung G5. For £300 it’s amazing value. Further up the chain you have the ASUS VG27AQ at around £450, so it depends on how much you’re willing to spend.

I haven’t done much research on monitors at the moment so thank you for the recommendations, I don’t have a budget yet but the Samsung G5 sounds like a good value.

With a flexible budget, this is what I would recommend for your uses. It has all the features you will need and will pair nicely with the G5 or a similar 1440p monitor 🙂

Is there anything about the PC that could be an issue, I was especially worried about the motherboard because I don’t really understand them so didn’t know if it was good enough for my parts.

Also, I think the power supply is only a bronze one so will that be good enough?

MrWilson has specced a nice build, personally though, i’d add 3 LL120 fans (1 rear, 2 roof) to make the look really good.

Ideally i’d have specced a R7 5800x and 3070, but with both costing £200 more each... it’s extremely difficult to justify.
