Lolz ok what's that for? If it's for gaming it's massively overkill and you'd see a bigger performance difference if you got an SSD and downgraded the CPU. Tbh with this kind of budget it would be foolish not to get an SSD.

how many screens are you playing on? just the one? if so then you dont need to go sli.

well yeah it will, but to be honest, once you get 60fps, you can really notice the difference above that. with the spec i posted, you could add another 680 in the future if you wanted more power, or if you went on to add more screens.

And about homeplugs, they are reliable and basically, from what I've read are much much better than wireless because at long distances they still perform well, its basically like having a Ethernet connection to your PC

Thanks for the suggestion Samwil, I probably will buy my games with it! (Battlefiled 3 being a definite!) I will look up some reviews on HomePlugs and check it OOOOWT!

your welcome, just remember how many games are coming out over the next few months, that £300 wont last you long tbh,
My list of games to get is about a page long from now to spring 2013

Aaaah, I get it now, homeplugs, is a wireless internet module which you can plug an Ethernet cable in to which will give you a better signal!

EDIT: Maybe not...
