Can anyone recommend any changes I can make to this build, thanks! Oh yeah, I’d also like some monitor recommendations to go along with this!

Ah, I didn’t know windows 10 would be receiving no support. Thanks for sharing this, it looks like a very good build, although I have no experience in this.

Yeah, it ends 31st December 2025...as it is, Microsoft have stopped selling it to the general public. Win 11 is a little different but it's not a massive change and you will soon get used to it.

That build will do a brilliant job with a 1440p 144Hz monitor....might be worth havign a look at the monitor section of the forum for a few ideas
Ok I’ll pop over there and take a look, thanks!

If I were to up my monitor budget to £800, what are some good options for me out there?
The Alienware AW3423DWF is the one to go for

It's currently just above budget, but Black Friday is coming up

Would the ASUS B650 motherboard be suitable with the 7800x3D? I heard there were quite a few issues between asus and the 7800x3d cpu
It wasn’t in the suggestion? Are you altering the build?

There’s no issues with ASUS and 7800X3D. There were over voltage issues on all motherboard vendors until a BIOS was pushed out earlier this year but that was all resolved

Sorry, I have another question. If I were to also use this PC for other tasks such as CAD, fluid-dynamic simulations and programming, would the 7800x3D still produce adequate performance.
Edit: Gaming will still be the main purpose of this PC, I’m just wondering if the CPU will perform decently in the tasks I mentioned
