I am coming from my thread I posted but it was locked due to this one.

I just tried to go into the BIOS to have a look around but it is in French and not English

Gigabyte Z390 UD: ATX, LG1151, USB 3.1, SATA 6GBs - RGB Ready

I probably won't jump straight into windows 11 but it's nice to prepared in case I ever wanted the upgrade when the time is right.

Guess I best buy a copy of french for dummys :p

You need to search around on how to change your BIOS to English, the motherboard user manual is a good start

I would phone PCS and talk this through with them? Did you buy this from the French website perhaps?

There may be an option to change the language but I know that not all BIOSes support that. You may (with PCS's permission and guidance) need to flash the US version.....

No I bought my machine direct from PCS and have made no alterations except adding additional fans to my build to help cool as I was stupid and only got 1 fan for a 2060 super :p

Definitely phone PCS then. IMO that's not acceptable.

Oh really? I shall give them a call later today then.

I have never really called them about my build since I have now made adjustments to it they will probably just advised me that my warranty has been voided or any support to it is now gone.

Can I just ask why you say this not acceptable?

If you bought a PCS build from the UK site then it's not acceptable to have a French language BIOS that you can't understand.

As long as you don't change the case, motherboard or BIOS and don't damage anything whilst changing stuff your warranty should likely still be fine (unless it's run out). - obviously only for bits they provided though :)

We don't generally change the language from English to anything else so i'm not sure why it's in French for you.

Load into the BIOS, go to system/système

Then the first changeable option should be system language (langue du système) Change the English.
