Let me know what you think! Its been 5 years in the making, always went with intel in the past, but this time round I just couldn't do it! Just way too much negative feedback around Intel's 11th Gen 11900k CPU.

Let me know if I made the right decision :cry:

PC is purely for gaming! and light admin MS office stuff, no streaming or content creation.

I have a 27inch LG 27UDG9P its only 60 hertz https://www.lg.com/uk/monitors/lg-27UD69P so looking to upgrade to 120hertz, 144hertz in the next 6 months or so.

Do you reckon my attached Gaming PC build will future proof me for 4k gaming when it becomes the norm if ever!

For just gaming the 5950x isnt a great choice more for heavy production work the 5900x is a much better choice leaving you more budget for better storage options and a better case would opt for the h115i cpu cooler but its out of stock left the 3080ti in as you stated you would like a new monitor just be aware a decent 4k 144hz monitor ranges between £700-£1200

Personally I dont rate the 3080ti as being worth it for the money over a standard 3080 could add the savings towards that new 4k monitor dropping down to a 3080

Most games at 4k your looking at a 4 -5 fps diffrence thats nearly £ 80 -100 a frame.

so if you buy the 3080 and in a months time you are playing assassins creed and nvidia said hey I can get you 2 more frames but that will be £380 extra for it then I would tell nvidia to get out of my house ;)
