Multiple issues with Recoil Laptop

Got a Recoil IV 18 months ago, planned to use it in college but has been sitting on my desk since the pandemic started. I leave it on my desk with the lid open on a stand 90% of the time while I’m playing games or studying, closing it only a couple of times a week. The hinge cover has now cracked open and the lid wont close properly. I’m about to do online exams and I’ve a thesis to write so losing my laptop for 3+ weeks is not an option. Any ideas? Laptop battery is also terrible. Is there any guides also on repasting the CPU for my model? Thanks spec below:

You've got a defective laptop but you're not willing to send it for repairs... I'm afraid there's not a lot we can suggest, you need to get it RMA'd.

Repasting is just a standard thing no matter what chassis. It's just weather it's one or two heatsinks.

Hi, I have a Recoil IV which stutters every few minutes when playing games. Never used to do this before when playing the same games on identical settings. Have reinstalled my graphics drivers and even bought the KLIM Cyclone laptop cooling fan to no avail. To add to this I have got 3 BSOD in the past month all with the same stop code: Video_dxgkrnl_fatal_error. I am unsure how to diagnose this further, when the stutters happen there are no spikes in the task manager.
