More ram

I wanted to get two more sticks of ram to up my total to 32gb. When checking the part number for the memory fitted, I get CMWX8GD3600C18W2D. Doing a search to find more to purchase didn't come up with much. I tried the upgrade my order section of my order but it seems to have a glitch and won't let me proceed unless I also purchase primary storage.
Any idea guys? Is the specific part number important or will it be ok to buy the same description memory from Amazon?

Firstly, what's the program that's requiring more RAM? A lot of people don't understand RAM and think that more improves the performamce of the PC like a faster CPU would or something

My son plays a lot of heavily modded cities skylines, Gary's mod and Minecraft.
Its all the mods that seems to eat ram. The upgrade is partially for looks too, I don't like the look of the empty slots.
I know you can get 0gb sticks with the RGB in them, but I find
them pretty poor value.

Yeah, that makes sense.

To be safest, as pairing RAM can be fiddly at the best of times, I would just give PCS a call tomorrow and ask for 2 X 8gb of the same RAM. Then they can get an accurate pairing.

Managed to sort this via live chat. There was indeed a glitch on the configurator preventing me from ordering more.
Let's hope it plays nice with the other ram when it arrives.

Just out of interest. Is it unusual for my ram to show 3597mhz when I activate xmp, instead of the 3600mhz it's rated at?
I know it will make literally no difference, just wondering why....
Probably not even worth manually adjusting it ?

New ram arrived today. Not impressed with the packaging. Just loose inside a Jiffy bag, not even in an antistatic bag!
I'll give it a whirl later tonight and see if it's survived it's trip Also the sku number doesn't match what's already fitted
