Monitor display turns off randomly, I have changed DP wires twice

As title says, my screen just randomly goes black as im browsing, typing or gaming. My wire is currently connected to my GPU, a 1660 super. Any suggestions or ideas? I've already changed the display port wire that I use twice.

And you're sure the DP was fully plugged in? It's needs to click at both ends.

Sorry to ask, it's just almost never that a port is bad.

I guess it does point to a bad DP port then. I would create an RMA through your online account and get that card swapped.
