Monitor cable not compatible.

just received my new desktop computer. Very excited to put it up. However my monitor cable is not correct. What do I need . My son put together this computer for me and he's away now.

Without knowing your PC and monitor we won't be able to help.

Are you able to post your specs from the PCS order page and let us know what monitor you have

Found an older post of yours.

That motherboard has a DVI and a HDMI output so will need one of those cables. However will depend on your monitor

Thanks for replying. The monitor is quite old, its Samsung model number 943SN. I tried taking photo but file too large. Only 1 outlet to put the cable into monitor and the other end does not fit into computer. What cable do i need or monitor. Sorry for being soo

No worries. That monitor supports DVI so you will need a DVI cable

Also if there's a Currys/PC World near you I even seen DVI cables in Asda if you need one like today
