Mini gaming PC build

Looking to replace my old PC. Most of it dates back to 2012 with some minor upgrades over the years and I want to replace it with a fresh new build.

The mini form factor isn't a hard requirement, but they do look pretty cool and I think I can live with the downsides, i.e I don't anticipate missing the extra PCI slots. But if they are too much of a hassle in regards to maintenance, thermals or it simply being incompatible, then a full size case is fine too. Feedback welcome here.

I only really play WoW and Overwatch and would like to be able to more or less max out their graphics settings. The 32GB of memory is so my PC no longer has less RAM than my MBP . I don't care for RGB (sacrilege, I know...) and would prefer a boring black box for the case.

I currently have dual Dell U2515H monitors (1440p, 60Hz) connected via DP and HDMI. I'm probably not going to immediately replace them, but in the future I'd like to get a high refresh rate monitor at 1440p.

Thoughts?

Personally I would not go mini pc with a 5800x its the hottest chip of the new amd line up also mini pc,s are awkward to upgrade later on in its life time I personally would go for a normal sized desktop pc if space is not a issue there just far better

Thanks. I didn't know that about the 5800x. I thought it was a long shot, but they just look so cool . Any suggestions on what to go for with similar specs in a full size? Budget is around £1600, but could go higher if it's worth it in people's opinions.

This would work out nicely as a smaller form build, I’ve removed Windows and any HDDs from the purchase with the idea that you might be able to transfer your license and drives over…
