Hi all, I'd love some advice on this because I've been looking at parts for a long time and think I've settled on something good, but my anxiety means I need to check!
My current PC is years old and using a 7th gen Intel core, so I'm overdue an upgrade. I pretty much exclusively use it for gaming, and I'd like to be able to play modern games comfortably at 1080/1440p. I don't want to break the bank so I was originally aiming for around £1,500 but I've gotten a little carried away and ended up around £1,700, so that's fine as well but I wouldn't want to stray too close to £1,800+.
I've tried to stay relatively balanced in terms of cost/performance so if there's anything that really sticks out as bad value for money, or something I've missed that performs better for the cost, I'd love to hear it. My main worries are case, cooling, and power supply - would love some advice on those, especially power supply. Is it worth getting a larger power supply now if upgrading the CPU in a few years (I know AM5 will be supported a while longer) would be on the cards? I don't know how difficult swapping out a power supply is compared to a CPU, which I can do.
