I dont know if this is the right place to post this but im having some major issues in games

i have a ryzen 7 3700x and 2070 super

Borderlands 3 im barewly getting 60-70 fps on high settings at 1080p (i know people with much worse systems than me getting higher fps than this)

AC Valhalla i can barely get 50fps on 1080p medium settings

Destiny 2 im getting around 60 fps at medium to high settings, at 1080p

its still playable ofc but i expect better performance than this considering the money i paid for my system

any ideas what the issue could be?

What monitor have you got? and are all drivers up to date and windows update all done?

If you can post your full order specs as well that can help

Right just carried out Built in Bench mark on Valhalla.

you should be getting far more than the following.

Medium

Avg - 66
min - 37
max - 114
GPU mem usage - 3332 MB

Very High

Avg - 45
Min - 12
Max - 109
GPU mem usage - 5076

Ultra High

Avg - 40
Min - 26
Max - 80
GPU mem Usage - 5947

my default custom

Avg - 68
Min 42
Max 102
GPU mem usage 4979

my custom is more set at 68 -70 and does not move to low or high from it (from graph) and my memory usage on GPU is higher than medium and quite close to the Very high setting.
on a side note my CPU usuage is higher on my custom settings than the medium or very high.

when playing on my custom setting its in that 60 - 70 zone majority of the time.

Had a thought about this.

without anything running, open task manager and see what resources are being used, what your cpu / GPU usage is and temperatures.

I would try running a Stress Test to see what your GPU is doing...best one is TimeSpy through 3DMark (can get the free demo on Steam)...this will give a good baseline as there aren't really any settings to change in it, unlike games etc.

Agreed, you should be getting higher fps than that even running it at 1440p

thats my benchmark score

Deffo think your GPU should be getting better numbers than that, as a comparison I've just ran Time Spy on my rig (Laptop 2070, non super) and managed 8110 GPU score. However, I've noticed that the scores can fluctuate by as much as 3-400 points or so between runs.
