Had a look at configurator, honestly I'm very surprised this case isn't compatible with a higher grade power supply (which is what I and probably others would suggest).

Not sure what your aesthetic preference is but think this case is very pricy if it really can't accept a 1000 ot 1200W power supply. Need that margin in case of future upgrades and also to stay safe with those transient GPU power draws (2-3x nominal rating). Another plus of the 1200W unit is it's a newer model which can better handle those fluctuations.

I personally have the Corsair 3500x which fits a 1200W supply nicely and has ARBG fans included - honestly a bargain for 80 quid.If you want something more high end, Corsair 6500x, Fractal North TG XL or Corsair 5000X would be good options..

Not a great motherboard choice for this level of build as AFAIK it doesn't allow CPU overclocking and might be tempermental with higher frequency RAM. ASUS also not got the best quality control from what others have said. Gigabyte X870E should be better in all these areas & gives you the option to add more storage later.

General rule of thumb is to have a small but fast boot drive for the OS and app launchers. Second drive can be larger & for main storage and doesn't have to be as fast since most applications consist of loads of smaller files so there are diminshing returns in loading time. Would be good to hear more about your use case though.

The Corsair Titan 360 RX cooler costs slightly less than the older H150i and also is generally quieter.

No need for thermal paste as the AIOs have their own.

Do you need all that RAM? any productivity use case? otherwise I would go with 32 GB and even consider the Corsair Platinum ones since they have higher frequency and my past call with PCS suggested they may have higher chance of being lower latency. Probably won't make that big a difference in games over the Vengeance sticks but something to consider..

I've pasted below a config that tries to capture the above, but open to hear other folks suggestions:

It is compatible with higher power PSUs, just not the 1200RMx Shift version due to the changed orientation of the sockets on the Shift series.
