I am looking to purchase a gaming Rig. i love gaming i play alot of games i have alot of games. I thought it was finaly time i got myself something that i won't have to worry about when it comes to quality gaming. All these latest games now require a better performance so ofc that is what i would lke.I am not technical minded nor do i have any experiance in computers and its parts. I just want to have something that within a price range i am prepared to go. But to be able to comfortably play Dx11 games without any issues whatsoever. also i Don't think i wold like anything that requires liquid cooling system they are too loud. i have one and i hate it. nor do i want anything that comes in a BIG case. the size of my case makes it nearly impossible to pick it up. big horrible things. the case i have is a thermaltake kandalf. Wish! i had never bought this thing. too big and noisy.
So i am now hoping could discuss some ideas and direction that i would like to go with a budget of no more than £1000. I would be intrested in something maybe that would include the Nvidia Geforce 6 series range. possibly anything over 680 - titan ? As i have said i don't now much about these things but you folks are the professionals and i would appreciate your advice and help to try and find me something i would be comfortable with.
Hope to hear from you specialists soon. Thanks.

wow that's like a God compared to mine atm lol. would definatly have to be Windows7 64bit. i don't like the new 8. shame the titan is so expensive. And how much in price would it be if i say i wanted to go with a 690? and could you please explain to me What are the differences in qualitys between the 670 and 690 ? Thank you. I may consider going over my budget based on the findings.

Well there is roughly 600 quids worth of difference, so that would put you quite a lot over budget :)
The 690 is basically two underclocked 680's so will perform a lot better (for multi-monitor gaming), but does come with a very hefty price tag.

A GTX 690 is 2 underclocked 680s. 2 x GTX 670 will offer close performance than a gtx 690 but for gaming in 1 monitor it seems overkill. You could check benchmarks online.

i am only going to use my one monitor for gaming the other is setup for something completly different. Setup with my TraktorPro2/Sorato/Vdjpro/Abelton Softwares for my digital djn. so only need for 1 monitor. i have a samsung 32" for my gaming. thats enough for lil ole me i thinks :) and the benchmarks i viewed and shocked to what i see. 670 seems a better choice for both price and qualitys.

Just don't know which to have. i just want to play the games on Ultra settings Contenders are: 670 / 680 / 690 / Titan/ Guess i have time to think about which.. I just like everything i am reading about the 690GTX lots of great reviews and folks loveing the 690. so i am kinda torn do i go for it..

The gtx 670 will max Crysis 3 and Bioshock infinity at the highest settings. Metro last light has not been released yet as far as I know.

Tub I have the 670 and theres nothing that doesn't run on ultra. Except Metro 2033. Nothing runs 2033. For your money mate get a 670 and a mobo/psu capable of sli'ing. In 12 - 18 months you can buy another card if you feel the need and have better performance than a titan for 500 quid less.

Thank you for all the Responces but i know what i am like! and my wife told me this is the only time she will let me do this lol So i am have made my decision on a Graphics card choice. and will Order a Full built rig asap with these specialists here. Going for the Nvidia Geforce GTX690 4Gb. Saves me updating my Gcard 6months down the line where i am unsure where i will be. So might as well have myself a serious Monster :) And will keep the wife off my back in 6months lol
Ps: ment to ask do the Pcspecialists actually get involved on here and speak? Would like to actually discuss in person my build with a human being before i type in and give my cash.

Give em a call mate, although I didn't speak to anyone before I ordered, I've heard they're happy to discuss your specs and queries that arise.

! We are all human beings!! :) hehe.

As Blackdog has said, if you give PCS a call when you want to order (or even just to discuss) they'll be happy to go through your spec with you. Occasionally staff members do post on the forums but the easiest way to get them is to give them a call :)
