I have a massive desk to be honest, I just mainly use it for paperwork etc so don't want to fill it up is all24 inch 1440p models do exist but the issues are
a) they have a refresh rate down at say 60 or 75Hz which may not be ideal for some forms of gaming.
b) the panels are TN, which are typically inferior to IPS or VA panels.

So do they exist? Yes. Would I recommend? No.
If desk space is an issue for a 27 inch then (as others have said) attach the monitor to a desk clamp or ... umm ... buy a bigger desk?
Hm might look into getting the 27 g5 then and mounting it.
Apart from that, would you say my spec is about right now?
