Looking for a new Gaming/Streaming PC but don't know where to start

It’s insane, totally insane, you’d have to be mad to buy one at that price, but more and more, console players moving to pc seem to be insane
Would you recommend waiting a bit for the price to go down? I thought it would've been a set price but I also can't really wait months and months for a new pc as my current one just about turns on

They may never go down if the price has increased due to the TrumpTasticTariffs!

All I can say is that the AMD 9070xt is due to launch I think by the 6th or something of March.

I wouldn't touch any of the 5000 series nvidia cards with anything like current pricing, it's just completely insane, they're fully taking the mick.

The RX9070xt is expected to be around 4070ti levels, perhaps 4080.

But given AMD's behaviour in the GPU market in years past fully reacting to nvidia's play, I just don't know what way it's going to go.

They're available for less elsewhere, you would just fit it yourself, but it's not actually that much less.

I've seen some as low as £780-£790, but those (and everything else) are pre-order and I don't know if they'll suddenly increase the price once they're properly available.

Normally I'd recommend not playing the game and simply taking your chance on getting an FE version direct from Nvidia (fulfilled by Scan)...but with Nvidia's latest attempt at corner-cutting and fire-starting, I'd recommend a partner board this time around, from one of their listed resellers...
