I’m on 55 working days on my custom pc, what’s the longest someone has waited because I have a pre order item (3060 ti) but is it meant to take this long or what?

Due to the pandemic we've been in for the last year, there's been a massive increase in demand as people need PC's to work at home and people want to get into PC gaming. But the pandemic has also seen a massive decrease in supply, causing longer wait times and raised prices.

55 days does seem like quite a long time for a 3060TI but I'd have a check of the 3060TI wait thread to see what other peoples wait times are like. The people waiting for 3080's are getting very close to the 100 working day mark before having their PC built, so 55 days still isn't anywhere near the worst. If you were to call PCS they might be able to give you an estimate as to how long you might be waiting but they also don't know themselves. If you want to call them, I'd recommend calling at 9AM as soon as they open (Mon-Sat) as their wait times quickly increase to be multiple hours. I also ask for you to be kind to them, they've been worked incredibly hard over the last year and I'm sure a kind customer would go a long way!

As much as I hate to say it, the most solid advice I can give is sit back and wait, your time will come. I'm not sure if you are but I'd also advise not checking the current status every hour as it'll only make the wait seem longer

The RTX 3000 series cards are like gold dust. What CPU have you gone with as well as that could also be slowing things up.

One day the PC market will be normal again.... Maybe
