When I spoke to one of the PCS representitives on Friday, they said they were sending me out "a little something" and it should arrive by tuesday.

Well, it arrived today, sent to my home address rather than the address the laptop was delivered to (Billing address, I guess). What was the "little something" they sent me? Would you believe it, it's a bill. A bill for £874. The same amount I already paid back in October. The letter is demanding it be paid by December 3rd. I don't exactly have that money to hand and even if I did, I don't see why I should be made to pay twice.

I've only just got home from work, which is why I'm posting this here rather than talking to support.

I don't really know how to put into words how I feel right now. Gutted doesn't seem to cover it.

The invoice was sent for the replacement laptop because it was processed as a credit order - apologies, please dis-regard it. And that was not the "a little something".

You genuinely thought that the CS would be that unprofessional?

You seem to jump the gun way too quickly! It was fairly obvious that it was just a coincidence...

Glad you're sorted out though. :D
