I only messed with the overclocking for a bit and put them back to normal. i closely monitored temps as well, not going above 65c. Its back to the red screen again One thing thats really bugging me is that my gpu is constantly powered on and displays no activity. WHen testing with Fur mark I keep getting an 100mhz increase on what its meant to be clocked at (not the boost), then showing a throttling issue of about 130mhz haha Oh and my screen as returned after typing this.
i had a similar problem with a gt8600m a few years ago: it was the graphic card
have you checked that the CPU integrated graphic drivers are not conflicting with the dedicated graphic card? might be worth a try
Well I believe I have fixed my screen, I believe it must have been a corrupt driver. I formatted both hard drives, installed windows 7 and now my GPU light isnt always active and my screen works. WINNER!!!!!
