Hi all just recieved my new laptop, is it normal for the GPU to be running all the time rather then using onboard graphics, I've switched to adaptive in the Nvidia control panel but still its using the RTX 2070 instead of the onboard graphics.

Why's the result not online validated? Did you use custom settings?
What's the text about "...by limiting the framerate?" Can you take a screenshot instead of a partial photo? Seeing all the results and text would be better.
Your graphics score is near-identical to this other laptop. Overall score is a bit lower (and only a bit - like 1.4%) and there are dozens of factors as to why that could be.
Bearing in mind these are different chassis, different test conditions, etc, your GPU is certainly performing exactly as you should expect it to.
It shouldn't do.. but it's not entirely unheard of for PCS to switch to a different screen model that happens to support it, sometimes only for a few units. Check the Nvidia control panel I guess and see what it says.
I have a 1440p 144hz Freesync monitor, but freesync is off since I have an Nvidia GPU. I'm running in the 3DMark Demo. When I run a test I only get a graphics score and not a CPU score, so my overall score is 0. I'm running a GTX 1070, i5 4690K @3.5GHz, and 16GB Ram.
Hi, I have a new laptop with G-Sync but I cannot see anywhere in the Nvidia Control Panel where I can turn this feature on or off... Some older tutorials point to a Display option in the Nvidia Control Panel but I only have the 3D Settings option... So ho
I've had to install the Nvidia control panel myself as it never came on the laptop when I got it, the version I have hasn't got the option for G-Sync and also there's no option to choose which graphics I can use i.e. RTX 2070 or onboard.
