Laptop for Processing Photographic Images

My second purchase from PCSpecialist.
1st was a desktop bought back in March. Does everything I need.
Bought a custom laptop to complement & to use when I am away from home. Again performance is excellent.
So far only one issue on the laptop, which appeared to be an overheating problem. Cooling fan on full, blank screen.
I rebooted after 5 minutes and all appears well. Noticed that the cooling policy was set to passive on battery. Good for battery life, not for components!
Will monitor the situation and will contact PCSpecialist should it happen again.
Overall am I happy - Yes. The best laptop I have owned.

Hello, what is your opinion on this pc after 1.5 months of use? the chassie is plastic?

Hi Maxime,
The case is plastic, of good quality and the internal chassis is metal. It does show fingerprints on the case.
No problem with the pc. Extremely fast, the quality of screen is excellent & well worth the extra cost.
I'm not a gamer, but a photographer and I need the power to manipulate images which it does well.
My only issue is the battery life, which is generally less that 30 minutes on full power. I always keep it connected to avoid shutdowns.
There is no alternative battery pack with more capacity, which is a shame.
I would really recommend it overall.
