Laptop for photo/Video editing

I've specced a Laptop for heavy Photoshop/Lightroom and Premiere Pro use.
It's for serious hobbyist use with a Lightroom catalogue of 750,000 images and I want to start shooting 8K/4K video with my Canon R5 camera rather than the HD/low bitrate 4K that I currently shoot. My last computer was a PCS desktop (2016 bought) with I7-7700K, 32 GB DDR4 3000 ram, GTX 970 graphics card, 256GB M2 SSD, 480GB 2.5" SSD and 1 x 5tB and 2 x 8Tb hard drives. The computer still works ok for photography but really struggles with video. I'm not sure it's possible to upgrade it to a better for video standard and also like the though of a new laptop.
I was hoping to keep below £2000 but ended up with the spec below. Just not sure if I have over specced or under specced.

What are your need for video editing ? (in raw power)

Do you need a 17" or a 15" ?
Do you work on a different monitor or the screen on the laptop ?
Will you use it on battery or plugged ?
Wath's your maximum budget ?

Hi

Thanks for that.
I plan on using the Laptop screen for most of the editing. Video editiing will be 8K raw or 8K all-I that is then downsized to 4K. Most of the time the laptop will be plugged in. I want it to act as a desktop replacement. I was hoping to come in at about £2000 but could stretch to an higher amount if needed.

Hey,
I'm not a pro at video or photo editing, so you may want to take what i say with a pinch of salt

So, i was looking at what raw spec is needed for 8K video editing, and, clearly, with a laptop, i will be hard to find something at this range of price (2kish) ...
You need the best gpu and cpu available, a good screen (you may want to pay for an external monitor ^^") and as much ram you can get ...


And so, this is the best config' i'd go for :
(because i'm not sure the ionico will be able to handle this kind of heavy workload ^^")

First choice : expensive and heavy laptop, but you have everything you need inside it (at least, for what i saw on google)
