Laptop for Gaming - D3/WoW/LoL etc...

Hey guys,

Long story short I'm after a pc directed at gaming. I have a 4 year old desktop from here which us still going strong have just reformatted it onto my ssd and it still runs any game on high settings. however I'm tired of having to lug it around so I'm after a gaming laptop. I'm between the 15 and 17" but am not too bothered. So what do you think about these specs?

What's your budget mate? Might just be possible to squeeze the Optimus VII Pro in there which has a much better GPU and a slightly stronger i5.

Wasn't wanting to go too high as I spent 2k on the desktop. Finance wise I don't see anything under 30 a month an issue.

The reason I asked was because the Optimus Pro is usually £30-40 more expensive. In this case it seems about £32 (~3.8% of the overall build I think) more expensive for a GPU that frequently gives ~20-35% more performance in a lot of situations and a CPU that benches around 12% stronger for single threaded performance, which is said to be particularly important for WoW.

Every so often it happens to people who have been around for a long time and have posted lots before - I don't know why, hopefully it'll sort itself out - if it doesn't sort itself out in a few days, we can get one of the admins to have a look.
