Hi all,
I ordered a Lafité Pro to use for work. I use Linux, so I ordered the laptop without an OS. Just after ordering it, I read that NVMe drives can't be used because of some miscofiguration in the BIOS. I ordered a SATA drive, so it should be ok. I maxed the memory (24GB) because I need to use virtual machines.
Now I saw in the forums that the BIOS in some laptops don't allow the virtualisation extensions to be activated. If true, that would make the laptop useless for me.
Can anybody confirm whether the virtualisation extensions can be activated in the BIOS in this model?
Also, if anybody has installed Linux in this laptop, I'd grateful to know what tricks (configurations options, kernel modules, etc.) are needed or recommended to make it work smoothly.
Thanks!
