Ladies and Gentlemen can you help me with my gaming PC setup

Hello,

I am planning to build a PC for mainly gaming. I haven't decided on my monitor brand and model yet but it will be 2560x1440 and 144 Hz. I am open to monitor suggestions. My budget for the monitor is around 350 pounds.

Regarding the PC. I really have no idea when it comes to building a PC , unfortunately i don't have access to wired connection so it has to be WiFi. I don't know what is important when it comes to cases for example other than compatibility also with cooling as well. For PC my budget is around 1600-1700 pounds. Thanks for the help in advance.

I'd say really solid attempt mate, I've tweaked it a little to give you a better balance for longevity and more robust cooling & case. I'd say to make sure you do your homework on a properly configured Windows OS, it's easy to do but it's also very easy to mess up, just make sure to properly read up on how to install it including all required system drivers properly

Unless you're specifically looking to take advantage of Nvidia-only features I would stick with the 6800XT (if budget allows). It has far better rasterisation and overall performance in most titles; along with far more Vram (16gb v 8gb on the 3070) which will be used in quite alot of current titles.

8GB on the 3070 is a little lacking and is one of the main detractors of this GPU, in my opinion.

£80 to go from a 3070 to a 6800XT is well worth it in my opinion, even if it could arguably be considered overkill for 1440p...
