Hi all - most of you on here know me and Im more for finding solutions than complaining about niggly issues, however my keyboard is starting to go again - this is the second keyboard in the 9 months I have had the laptop (pics below).
Trouble is, I cannot afford to be without my laptop for 5 weeks again when RMAd (the time it took last time) and basically it seems a long time to wait to replace a keyboard but I understand there are queues etc and the really really annoying thing is, the laptop works perfectly and is a great piece of kit.
Sadly, though I find this appalling quality for a £1700 laptop that the 'paint'/transfer is coming off for the second time after just this short period of time.
I want to weigh up my options and wondered if anyone on here has used keyboard stickers to replace lettering on the keyboard - if so, do they peel after a while - are they tacky? - how would you rate them and what ones have you got? Would the heat of the laptop effect the stickiness etc?
PLEASE NOTE: even though I am really annoyed at this, I am not looking at this thread going into a slate PCS or the laptop type thread, I'm looking for constructive options please. Thank you.
For the purposes of completeness and even though people know me on here as a PCS customer etc, my specs:
