Keepass Installer vs. Portable version

I am just wondering if I should use the Windows installer or the portable version of Keepass, when I use Keepass and create my password database.

Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated, please.

The full program is to use on your own systems, the portable is to carry around on a USB when you're not on your own systems.

Would it be a best to use both a "Master key" and a "Key file" at the same time to encrypt the Keepass database? Or is this just best used for businesses?

Key file stores the key on removable media so you can't logon without it. It's not required really, so long as you're not being silly and storing your database somewhere insecure, you won't need it.
