hi
im not an expert at all as you already noticed by reading the title.
So just to not make more mistakes because i already did by choosing a single channel 1x16 with lowest frequency possible and dare to complain why my fps are lower than im supposed to have...
Are these ram can compatible and safe with my laptop?
or i must only buy ram from PCS?
also another one, just for safe, (i already read other threads so i already know the answer but you know.. im paranoid) it will not void the warranty?

thank you

DDR4 covers a lot of RAM though and not all of them will be compatible.
What other stuff/specs should one need to know in your opinion?
If there are compatibility issues between brands the only way to know in my experience is to try, or read warnings from someone who tried already.
Thank you :)

The Crucial Memory checker is a useful tool as it will give all the details for the RAM in your system and what you can upgrade with..you can then go looking for other brands if you don't want Crucial ones:

Crucial System Scanner

Just need to click agree, donwload and run the tool and then it will bring you the information after 30 seconds or so
already did.. it say "Well, this is embarrassing! No system match was found. Somehow, a match for your system has eluded our industry-leading compatibility database. Our compatibility team will be searching for a solution if it is available, so check back soon!"

Alternatively, you can download CPU-Z:

CPU-Z

Scroll down the page to "Classic Versions"...click on "Setup" under Version 1.93. On the next page, click download, then install...run the program and it will analyze your system. On the results screen, click on "SPD"...there may be empty slots so just select each slot till you get something listed...it should show the part number for your RAM
this program is really cool, it give you not only memory but all composants in the pc with all the details needed to know.. its been a while that i wanted to know the motherboard and its model.

well i bought those ram and yes its fits and its compatible with the laptop.. also.. im shocked...the differences in game is way bigger than expected.
let me tell you some example from 1x16gb 2133mhz to 2x8gb 2666mhz:
rise of tomb raider medium details 50/60 fps --> 90/100 fps and ~70 fps max details
overwatch and paladins max details ~75 fps --> 144 fps stable
etc..
in conclusion single channel ram bottleneck severely the gpu also now ram usage is bigger.. before it used less than half..
