Is this desktop any good for gaming?

I want to buy the pulsar elite, is there any changes which can be made to make it better?
I don't think I can go any higher than £900 unless the suggestion is game changing.

What sort of games do you play?

What monitor do you use? Refresh rate and Mhz if known, make and model if not.

I would say that you would be better going for an AMD system as they are superior to Intels and you will get far more value.

Some of the games I play are csgo and overwatch.

When you say 144hz, what definition is it? 1080p (full hd) or something else, like 1440p?

At your budget, you obviously won't be able to play games like that at max settings but this system should do a pretty good job:

Obviously, the budget is a bit over but, personally, I think it is worth spending the extra. If, however, you don't want to, you could reduce the GPU to the standard 1660, PSU to the CV version. Of course, you could also drop the Seagate hard drive and, when the space is needed in future, you could buy one and install it. The other place to save is, if you are replacing a system with Win 10, you could always transfer the licence over and install yourself which would save £80 or so

Yes, it's still got the M2 drive as the primary drive, and then you can pick up an HDD later on when you've got the money to extend your storage. Amazon stock plenty and they're not expensive.
