Is this build good?

Hi I'm new to pc building and just want a good, decent gaming pc that can handle most games. I would like any advice on this build like if they do the job and it all works together well? Also any other advice you can think of.

Thank you

Hi ;) We need to know your monitor, uses, budget, get the full list and a link to your specs. Read the below and amend.

Thanks for the information.
This is mainly just for gaming and possibly some vr in the future. My budget is £0- £1500 but if can get it cheaper than that would be great.
I have two monitors my first is a:
ASUS VP28UQG with a resolution of 3840x2160, a refresh rate of 60hz and native 4k UHD.
My second is a:
ACER NITRO VG240YPbiib with a resolution of 1920x1080 and a refresh rate of 144hz.

If there is any other information you need please let me know.

Thank you.

Which monitor do you plan to game on? If you want to game at 4k 60Hz (the Asus monitor), the entry level budget is about £1850. If we're to convert this to 1080p 144Hz (and leave you the option of upgrades in the future) it can just about fit in inside £1500, maybe £1400 at a push.

I was planning to play on the Asus but if it's going to be that much then I can switch to the Acer. It just depends on what that final price would be on either of those options. If the final price for the Asus is around £1800 then I could do that but any higher and I will use the Acer.

Here's an entry-level 4K 60Hz build. Having looked that monitor up, it looks like it's not the greatest experience (TN panels are... not great). But this build will do you for that monitor, and would also do you fine if you were to change to something like 1440p ultrawide in future.

Ok thanks, it recommends a lower power supply, is that something I should change or keep it as is. I know about 3070s and the graphic card situation that's happening at the moment but would you know how often pcspecialist get restocked, if not don't worry about it.

Also if you don't mind what build would you do for the Acer monitor

Thanks

No, leave the power supply: it gives extra capacity for upgrades, longer life and quieter running.

For 1080p I'd keep the same build and swap the 3070 out for a 2060 (or a 1660 Super, though the price difference is so small at the moment that I'd prefer the 2060). That said, 3070s seem in decent supply with PCS right now. They seem to be running at two to three weeks, though of course no promises!
