Is this anything to be worried about?

So I just got my new PC from PC specialists last friday and i’ve only just had time to start giving it a close inspection. I noticed a short wire stemming from the motherbord, it is attached with what looks to be glue to a short cylindrical metal tab and touches the base of the desktop case. Is this anything to be concerned about? Has it perhaps become unstuck from somewhere? Is it meant to just hang freely?

Please let me know your thoughts, I am a novice so perhaps this isn’t anything to be worried about. But would appreciate some ideas.

Does the case have RGB lighting with a remote control? If so, that could be the IR sensor for the remote control. They sometimes hang loose in the case for fixing depending on the case position.
Can you try and take a better picture, closer up to the object at the end of the wire?

Hi there, I have RGB lighting but it isn’t wirelessly controlled. Its controlled through button on the desktop. As for getting a better photo, it’s really difficult without removing the side of the case. This is as best as I can get (please see attached)

Would be clearer to remove the side of the case, there's no telling what that may be without a clear picture.

The second set of photos looks exactly like the first.... only cropped?

An actual picture of the wire is definitely going to be required. They are too shaky to identify anything.

If you could tell us exactly what motherboard you have we can probably work out what it is based on where it's plugged in...

All posts made after Oussebon's has been deleted as the thread has been derailed from the O.P's question and another post has gone south. If anyone wants their accounts deleting then PM me.

As previously stated this is a 'speaker' for the board designed to differentiate between post 'OK' or to denote standard faults.
