Is this a suitable spec for lots of Photoshop/Lightroom and Video editing?

Hi
I'm OK on some components like RAM, Storage but out of my depth on other tech spec components.
Would you glance over my spec and provide some advice please? My max budget is no more than the quote of around £2800.

I will be using add on TP-Link wifi and a TP-Link bluetooth usb. I also use bluetooth keyboard and mouse. My monitor is a Benq 4k.

My primary usage is Photoshop/Lightroom and some video editing (mostly 1080p). NO Gaming requirements.

INTEL is DOA, no one would recommend it.
Furthermore, the build is not well designed, with several subpar/insufficient areas (such as Case, RAM, PSU and drives configuration).

I would recommend waiting until the new hardware is announced at CES on January 6th before making any purchase.

Whilst you're waiting for any new announcements in January, consider that the current AMD Ryzen 7 9600/9700X are faster, more efficient & run cooler than any of the Intel CPUs (and won't break). If you need more cores for multi-core workloads then the 9900/9950X are still better/cooler/more efficient than any Intel option.

Photoshop specific benchmarks:

More general content creation benchmarks:

I'd also recommend upping the RAM to the 6000MHz sweet spot, otherwise you're leaving a potential 10% performance on the table.

There's no need to pay the exorbitant price for a Crosshairs motherboard unless you know there's something specific on there that you know you need - plus it comes with wifi/bluetooth anyway. You could save £150-£250 on the motherboard without noticing any significant difference.

Case is important, as the 'silent' and smaller ones tend to get hotter and are not as easily to cool with air/liquid coolers as there tends to be very little space/outlets for the heat to be exhausted.

Tku. I have checked out the links and appreciate your advise. You have provided much that needs to be reconsidered.
