Is this a decent computer? I only play old school runescape/fortnite/warzone/call of duty and watch twitch/youtube

Afraid I won't be able to help as you're struggling to hear the feedback. All the best with your decisions.
appreciate your responses but i think you've misunderstood my uses. i've had lots of other comments on another thread to look at upping the ram to 32gb changing the cpu/gpu and i should have a build good enough to play fortnite for the next 5 years.

Wonderful, glad you got the help you were looking for.

Although don't really get what you're saying, couldn't do that without raising the budget, unless of course they've gutted the platform. Oh well, good advice is hard to come by I guess.

I dont know if i have or not as i know very little about computers. They could be giving terrible advice for all i know.

I’m happy to have good advice

They’ve said to switch the gpu to 7700 xt gaming and switch the cpu to 7700x and change to 32 gb ram. Removing some fans as it comes with 3. Its still stayed within £1500. And they’ve said this would be fine for fortnite. That seems to be the consensus but theres lots of mixed advice i’m getting.

I'm a bit confused. Have you cancelled the original order yet, or are you looking to amend that order to something more suitable?

I called them and put it on hold to make adjustments to it. Luckily i caught them before they started building it. But i’ve paid the deposit and once i get some good advice i will make the changes.

I think, whilst you "don't mind making some sacrifices", you might struggle to get advice from the members of this particular forum because it would be bad advice.

The idea of a custom PC is to spec not just for here and now, but for the future too. Generally, making sacrifices means cutting corners to cut costs, which lessens the possibility of future upgrades and makes the PC what we call a 'throw away' PC. We find that paying a little more now means you pay less later, i.e on an entirely new PC, which is why Spydertracks mentioned £1700 rather than £1500 as a budget further up the thread.

And take this from someone that ordered a PC before finding this forum and has the issue I've mentioned above about throwaway.

And i really appreciate that, but i dont plan on playing games for more than 5 years, so theres no chance im going to be upgrading in 3 years time for example. I see people with builds for way smaller budgets than mine that are playing fortnite. I get that most people want really high specs/fps etc but im coming from a ps5 to gaming on pc it doesn't need to be a really really good pc. im happy with something that does the job, my main game i play is a 20 year old mmo that i could play on a £100 laptop lol but i want something where if i fancy playing fortnite once in a blue moon i can
