You need to help us to help you. You could be wanting this build to open websites and watch netflix, without having some basic information on your usage and needs we're working completely blind.

I suppose my question is more, is this CPU cooler OK for the CPU. Are the thermals with this case OK with the fans etc, I have selected? Any bottle necks.

I’m planning to play 1440p AAA games 240hz 27 inch monitor.

I may go ultra wide 4K at some point.

Again, we need to know what it's for to know if it's suitable. There's no point in spending £3k on a rig to play mine sweeper at 720p. You may not think this information is important to your question but it's like posting up a GT3 Track car and asking if it's suitable....... without us knowing if you're driving to the shops or trying to break a Nürburgring record.

We're just volunteers wanting people to get the best value for money. We can't answer the question you asked with any confidence without that basic information, so we ask for that basic information. When it's not provided people will just leave you to it.

You've got a good response above though so hopefully that's you sorted. If you have a look around you'll see more positively received threads where there's a lot of back and forth to help people not over-spend/under-spend, etc. When you don't include the budget we won't know what to work towards, for example.

Whether you can be bothered to respond with that information is always up to you, but the response will typically be in kind. I'm trying to help you gain traction and interaction. People will give a wide berth when you can't be bothered.

I’m planning to play 1440p AAA games 240hz 27 inch monitor.

I may go ultra wide 4K at some point.

Budget is around £3k.

I will be playing FPS games/wow alongside the AAA titles 1440p (cyberpunk/elden ring)

I'd strongly reccomend getting a Corsair H100i or better for the 9800x3d the CPU is quite clever so Its unlikely to throttle but in really intensive tasks or games it could downclock itself. The CORSAIR ICUE LINK TITAN 360 RX is one of the best coolers you can get for the 9800x3d if you can afford the extra money for it.

Monitor: wanting 27 inch 1440p 240 hz monitor, or ultra wide 4k 120hz.

I’d have no concerns with that at all.

But, for purely aesthetic reasons, I’d put the order in and call PCS to see if you can swap some of the black components to their white counterparts (possibly Corsair cooler, RAM, GPU, motherboard).
