Tbh the ti variant felt a little pointless in terms of price to performance so a super may equally feel pointless normally im well up for ti variants and supers and all that but the 3080 hit its mark so well I dont see the point of more variants from a consumer point of view

As Jay said, they still can't fulfill orders for the original 3080 cards a year down the line, so why even think about it

Money of course, sell a card with a little more beef for hundreds more

Nvidia have never been ethical and if anything tried really hard to stagnate competition. This is completely expected from them, it's a shame AMD just aren't there yet but they are getting closer
