Ionico 17" RGB keyboard

Hi!

Just received my first PCS laptop - Ionico 17" and first impressions are fantastic. Yet, I would like it visually to appear less as "gaming" and RGB keyboard is not helping with that :) Is there a way how to change keyboard lighting from RGB to simple white in Control Center? It is possible with the light strip, thus, I assume it should be possible to do so with the keyboard as well.

It's RGB so you can set whatever colour you like, or just turn it off.

Hi Vak, welcome to the forums and congrats on getting the Ionico Laptop (I also have this one).

In Control Center, in the Light Settings, you can adjust all of the RGB functions and as SpyderTracks has noted, turn them all off.

thanks for you replies! I would like to change the lighting of keyboard to white. Yet, in Control Center keyboard lighting options I am unable to find white color. Am I missing something?

It's a standard colour palette, or you can manually set it to 255, 255, 255 which is the decimal code for white.

Thanks for you patience. Somehow, I am still struggling to find, where and how in Control Centre it can be done? I attach the current interface of control centre. Where could it be set manually to 255 255 255?
Sorry for asking questions that may seem obvious or amateur to some, but being new to the community and gaming world, there are a lot to discover for me

If you select the RGB palette that's 5 along from the beer glass you're on, what does that show you?

Basically, its the same palette, just a different mode of lighting.

Meanwhile on the light bar settings menu there is a different slider that allows to set it to white.

A short update - I have downloaded Control Centre equivalent software from other vendors (older versions) and the software allows to set RGB keyboard to be set at white colour. Unfortunately, that version of software is quite old and does not have any hardware features, like power control and etc. It suited for testing purposes but is not for permanent use.

Thus, the conclusion is that it is a software issue and current version of Control Centre used in PC Laptops does not allow to set RGB keyboard to white. Does anyone have a way to go around it or should we wait and pray that new version of CC will have this feature enabled?

Not following? What was the issue with the above slider?

No - the slide above was for the light bar (strip of LEDs in front of laptop), not RGB keyboard. Thus lighting for that light bar can be set to white as there is a separate slider in CC and allows it. In keyboard lighting settings, there is no such slider (see one post above).

Ah ok, apologies

In that case contact PCS and see if there's an updated version

Hi, could anyone share screen shots in current CC - where to find keyboard color picker and how to select white color?

Done that, their advice was focused on installing correct CC version. That did not solve the issue

I think you need to liaise with PCS, I don't know if it's possible on that keyboard.
