Internal Blu-Ray Drive

Is it possible to get an internal Blu-Ray drive with any of the laptops here? I can't seem to find an option for it in any of the configurations but want to be sure I'm not just missing something.

No laptops have internal drives any more, haven’t for years as CD/DVD is a dead media it IT world, everything is downloaded these days.

Not true. There's actually a configuration here that includes a DVD drive but not Blu-Ray. It's the Unltranote 17.

That's OK. I have some old Blu-Ray disks I'd like to be able to watch but I guess I'll have to go with an external player.

On another note do you know if PC Specialist are affected by the Covid 19 situation?

Yes, everywhere is really, but they haven't given us any notification of their plans as of yet.

I emailed them yesterday to see if they wanted anything posting on the forum, but haven't heard back as of yet.

Consider it business as usual, but I would get orders in as quickly as possible.

Thanks for all your help. One final question if you don't mind. Do you know what the battery life is like on the 15,6" COSMOS VIII? Unlike with the Ultranote series it doesn't give the size of the batteries in the configurator.

I see what you mean, all it says is 4 cell, but no further details.

I'm afraid I don't know, best to contact PCS directly about that, better by phone than email because email can take a while to respond.

To be fair they were pretty quick to get back to me when I emailed them about the Covid 19 situation. In case you're interested they have said that there could be issues with parts they get internationally so advised contacting them with the specific model of the PC/laptop before ordering.
