Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the following.
I am aware that the 10th generation Intel I7-10700K has a maximum stock RAM speed of 2933MHz. However, it is possible to overclock the RAM (subject to motherboard) above this figure using XMP.
If you purchase 3200MHz RAM will PCSpecilist enable XPM and run the system tests based upon the higher speed? Or would it be my responsibility to make the changes in the BIOS once the system arrives?
Relevant details of my circumstances are as follows:
-ASUS ROG STRIX Z490-F
-Intel i7-10700K
-16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3200MHz
I know it's easy to make the changes, but I have a friend who had an absolute nightmare trying to get the system stable with a custom build PC.
Any input would be much appreciated.
