Instructions on how to open and clean Proteus VII laptop

Hello, I'm in desperate need of instructions in how to open my laptop. I tried taking off the screws but the plate just wouldn't come off. The fans are full of stuff and it I'm getting CPU bottlenecks at 95C along with high GPU temperatures (85C), I've tried contacting custumer support and emailing PCS but they are taking a lot of time to asnwer, does someone have any instructions for this model? Thanks.

I think it is NLCA but I'm not sure which one is the model number so I'm going to attach pictures with this message,

They vary but on some, as well as the screws at the sides there can be one or two in the middle, sometimes not easily visible as recessed.

There is one in the middle and it feels lose but it won't completely come off, I'm reading a few old posts and it seems there are screws under the rubber supports but the info is pretty old and for an outdated model, I might remove the rubber supports to check for screws

There will be a chassis number on the back, worth doing a web search with that and the make, not sure if Proteus is Clevo. In past have been lucky and found Youtube video.

I've had quite a thorough hunt but can't find anything at all.

You can always contact PCS, they should be able to provide some instructions.

Tried talking to the online saleshelper to see if they could help but they were just as clueless as I am... I might just try my luck and get the supports out to see if I can find any other screws.

Let us know how you get on, it’s very likely it’s a couple of hidden screws, seems to be common on Quanta chassis.

Hey I can help with this 🙂, so for some reason even with all the screws out (yes you have them all and the centre does not fully come out on mine either) you need to apply force to get the case off. Now obviously you don't want to go sticking screwdrivers into the side and levering it so the way I've found easiest us to apply a few layers of tape from the centre overhanging the edge and use these as tabs to pull the cover off. You may want to secure the laptop down but I find the weight of it is enough. Sounds jank but have done this several times now (this model seems prone to dust for some reason).

While trawling other info in the chassis I managed to find the 'correct' way to remove the back is to apparently push the centre screw up which should push the keyboard up enough to slide something thin under it and then lever off. Honestly this sounds harder than the method I said above XD
