In testing, hope for delivery next week

Tez, mine took quite a while to go from order to in testing. My advice would be to pay for fast tracking if you want it that soon. Waiting wasn't a problem for me as I went on holiday after placing my order

Yup, sounds about right - those are the dates I had in mind. No news on the ECO240 mate, still got plenty of the standard ECO's though if you wanted to change?

not down grading the cooling, makes no sense to when the chip loves to be over-clocked. And I've seen results of 980 cpus going up past 4.7 on water, 990 should maybe hit the magic 5......

Lol, You'd hope!

When an ASUS Tech guy popped in last week he had a quick play with the 990X and had it running stable at 4.6GHz within minutes. It was only using the standard Intel Cooler and was hitting temps of around 90C. With improved cooling and more precise BIOS settings, 5GHz could be a possibility. We'd never sell it at that speed but enthusiasts will have fun getting there!

but am wondering about the delay in my tower, i was allowed to order fast track ordering, but so far my ALC has been out of stock for 2 of the days so far, and i requested 3 day delivery and was quoted on the phone for friday delivery

They would not do a fast track for me untill part was in
its not so much i cant weight to get pc its i work 60 hours a week and dont no what day of i will get the following week

Eco 240 are ordered but delayed unfortunately. Stock will probably land early next week.

Well pc is here and im in the process of installing all my softwares... including WoW.. bloody 7 gig download left to go :/

Anyway, here a few pics of the unboxing etc. Sorry the quality is bad, only camera i have is my rather knackered iphone. The pics just dont do the size of the case justice lol

for an amazing job. build quality is superb, cables are tidy etc, packaging was second to non. only gripe is i had to disable onboard sound so my sound card would work, kinda thought that would have been done havnt had chance to benchmark it yet, will get it working hard when i have finished loading it up!

Though the reason I came here was to look for a thread to hijack.... does anyone know how long quality control can take without me having to assume my computer failed it? Mine has been in qual control for over the 48 hour estimate now. Also has been 13 working days since my order was processed so I am dying to get hold of it! Sure I will call in the morning, but may as well also ask here

I know your pain, I installed WoW updates not long ago on both my laptop & desktop. Played it for around two weeks then remembered why I quit in the first place +rep for pics, enjoy!
