Is this a pc you bought, own and is in your house? If I was to upgrade my pc in pc specialist what would they do the graphics card that was already there, would they keep it, give it back, or give us a lower price on the upgrade.
So I have bought a pc from pc specialist and I own it and I’m looking for an upgrade but I was wondering what they would do to the graphics card which is what I want to upgrade. Would they keep the graphics card or give it back to me or even lower the price of the upgrade l.Is this a pc you bought, own and is in your house?
Or
is it a PC you have placed and order for and yet to receive?
also who is the ‘us’
They send you a graphics card.So I have bought a pc from pc specialist and I own it and I’m looking for an upgrade but I was wondering what they would do to the graphics card which is what I want to upgrade. No but there is an option where you give them back the pc and they add the parts back into it.They send you a graphics card.
You remove the one fitted.
fit the new one you buy from them.
then it’s up to you what you do with the original one you bought.
Yes but that is rather drastic for swapping a gfx card, if still going with same driver manufacturer, even easier. No but there is an option where you give them back the pc and they add the parts back into it.
And the delivery costsWhen considering the "send it to PCS for upgrade" option, bear in mind they are extremely busy at the moment...if going down that road, then be prepared to be without your system for several weeks possibly
Hi, I want to upgrade my graphics card, which is right now a 1050, to a 1660 ti. My psu is a 350w and I am sure that is not capable for a 1660 ti.What do you want to upgrade? I suspect that Currys/PCWorld builds come with a PSU that's able to cope with what's in the PC, but with little room for higher power components.
@Kevbob45 I've merged all your threads together, the feedback is going to be exactly the same.Oh okay thank you.
How would I return the pc I bought it from a year ago? The only reason I would like to upgrade the GPU is so I get more frames on Warzone and I also do not understand what you mean by registering with pc specialist.@Kevbob45 I've merged all your threads together, the feedback is going to be exactly the same.
As already stated, you need to register the PC with PCS
if you’re looking to upgrade the GPU, then quite frankly, you’ve bought the wrong PC. I would strongly recommend returning it and getting something that meets your needs.
You need to provide proof that you bought the PC new from Currys and that it's not been stolen and re-sold. You have to contact PCS and provide proof of purchase (your original receipt should do) and then PCS will recognise you as the legal owner of the PC. Until you've done that PCS will not support you.I also do not understand what you mean by registering with pc specialist.
