I am new to all this PC stuff and I am trying to get one of the custom overclocked AMD Ryzen 5 3600x and I have a few questions about it. 1. When I receive the PC will everything be already be done for me so I can go straight to Windows, 2. Does this CPU has less life than any other normal CPUs. 3. Do I need to get better airflow or liquid cooling? 4. What graphics card will pair well with the AMD Ryzen 5 3600x? 5.Would I need a good power supply?

What monitor are you paring it with?

£1000 will get you a basic 1080p gaming build at the moment. Is there any room to spend more? and we can spec one for you :)

I guess I'll ask why you would want to overclock a 3600X? You don't get much of a performance boost out of it, outside of the standard clock speed. Especially now that they boost themselves automatically. Plus instead of going for the 3600X I'd recommend just going for the R5 5600X which is much better on every front without the overclock

Answer your questions though

1. Everything should be done and good to go provided you bought Windows with the builld (May need to update drivers)

2. Yes overclocking can shorten life span of chips

3. I would recommend Liquid Cooling anyways, it's superior to air cooling even without overclocking

4. I'd pair it with a 3060Ti

5. Yes you would need a substantial power supply, I'd recommend 850W minumum

Can you link your full build so we can see everything, hard to give advice on one component without seeing everything

That build will give you decent 1080p gaming. (there's a lack of 1080p cards to pick from atm) but if you can find some more budget you can get a better system which will last you longer as well

An overclocked AMD CPU is a bad idea. These chips are designed with built in overclocking, meaning if you put a fixed overclock in it, you'll actually decrease its performance....

And dont touch the PCS cases, if it were a cheap £500 build, sure, but not when your putting a decent build together...they arent good enough to cope with the thermals and will have a negative effect on the lifespan of the machine itself.

Do you have a monitor already? Resolution and refresh rate are important when putting the spec for the machine itself together.

Please could you take into consideration that I would like to Stream and make Youtube videos thats why it would be extremely helpful if i had a nvidia gpu due to them offering Geforce Experience. Thank you.

Ok cool, do you know the resolutions on those monitors?
Are you really set on overclocking, even though its an AMD chip? (would not advise it)

I am not set on overclocking I just want the best performance possible with my budget. I am willing to get any chipp just want to maximise everything. By resolution do you mean wether its HD or not because it says FULL HD
