How to spot a millennial

The BSOD Doctor
On another forum where help out with BSODs I've recently diagnosed a user's problem as having two active drives with a Windows system on them both. I advised them to copy all the user data off the second Windows drive and then format that drive to be sure of removing every trace of the old Windows system.

Here's the response I'd have got from anyone born in the 20th century...
Very many thanks for your help. I'll get on to that straight away!

Here's the response I got from the user, someone who is clearly a millennial...
I'll have to buy another hard drive to do that!

Sometimes I wonder why I bother giving up my time and expertise.....

Millennials (also known as Gen Y) were born in the 1980s and 1990s and we're increasingly in our 30s and 40s. I think my generation do know how to format a drive, even if they learned it by accidentally wiping a drive or two - speaking from experience!

Gen Z were born in the 2000s and 2010s - they're potentially clueless about all this!

I wouldn't call fresh gooseberries sweet, all ours (from a couple of bushes we had in my grandparent's garden) were tart until we washed them and covered them in a pound of sugar!
