What do you want to achieve with the upgrade? In what way is the PC's performance less than what you want?

Also, what monitor do you have?

As in a general PC upgrade, nothing in particular seems to be bottlenecked but I want to get it a little stronger,

I have the Samsung Odyssey LC27G55TQBUXXU QHD monitor

But what do you want to achieve? Better frame rates in games? More CPU power for rendering videos? They're both possible (as are many other things) but it depends what you actually want.

Are you CPU limited in games? (I doubt it.) Are you running out of memory? (It's possible in some games.) Do you need more storage? Is your CPU overheating?

Without knowing what you need to accomplish it's hard to say how best to spend the money. I'd guess the priorities are going to be the graphics card (though the 3060 Ti is no slouch), the memory and the CPU cooler, but it all depends.

It's mainly a gaming rig that I use to run games like Overwatch 2 and VRChat, I don't consistently render videos and I'm not 100% sure how to spot issues like overheating CPUS and such, I have enough storage for myself as of now.

The main target is better fps in games and streaming VR as I generally do both, I don't often touch video renders and edits so that's more of an afterthought.

Have you clicked on the upgrade options via your account? This would give you an idea of what you could get for your money.

What VR headset is it you are using? The 3060i is quite low tier for this type of usage but I don't think you'll get a substantial GPU upgrade within the budget. With that being said, it depends on the headset and games used. If it's just VRChat then I don't think there's much to worry about. Has your experience with the 3060Ti been OK? I would probably hold off for upgrades 2.0 if it has.

5800X3D would be the CPU to have. This will help with most framerates in most situations you'll be in. It does very well in VR as well.
32GB of RAM would be a fair shout. You could get an identical 2x8GB kit which would give a nice performance bump as well as the older gen did well with 4x8gb utilisation. RAM is very good value right now and this would cover the future nicely.
You would need a very good cooler for the 5800X3D, it gets quite toasty under sustained load. If the H100x is available, opt for that as a minimum (genuinely, minimum). If you're sensitive to acoustics then one of the H115i offerings (lowest price one) would be ideal, I'm not sure on the 215 space limitations though so you might be better to see which ones are allowed through upgrade.

That would eat into most of the budget I imagine. The next consideration down the line would be GPU and potentially PSU if you wanted a significant performance bump.

Would I go about upgrading the graphics card or PSU first? I would assume graphics card but it wouldn't be able to be fully utilized with a weak PSU, so I'm not fully sure

If I were to upgrade the PSU, what would I upgrade it to within the price range?

It would depend on the GPU in question. You want a PSU that will handle the GPU plus some headroom. You currently have the 750w RMx, which is a good PSU. It would cover anything up to the sort of 4070/4070ti level.

If you wanted something a bit higher end then you would want to upgrade both at the same time.

I wouldn't waste money on the PSU if you're not looking to get into 4080 territory though, it's fine as is.

Is it possible to gain DDR5 on this PC? There's no options to swap the motherboard so I presume not but it's a thought.

So from what I understand from what you said before I should focus on the CPU, cooling and increased ram which will get performance higher.

There isn't a massive difference between DDR4 and DDR5 yet, I wouldn't worry about RAM

I've a similarly specced machine and don't currently have issues playing games at 1440p. the 3060Ti though is probably under powered for VR if that's the main driving force.

I'd say a GPU upgrade would see the largest performance boost for sure. When not in VR my 3060Ti is still hammering away with no issues at all at 1440p but you're just asking a little much of it for VR unfortunately

My first thought would have to be to upgrade the graphics card in your situation. Upgrading the CPU would be nice, but it's better done after you find a significant bottleneck, rather than in anticipation of one. The 5600X is a very capable gaming CPU in the majority of games.

Likewise, upgrade the RAM if you're running out.

I would spend £40 or so on a better cooler, but no more than that.

Personally, for your setup, I'd be looking at a 4070 Ti, thinking primarily of VR. You can get those for under £800.
