Hi All,

Now that the kids are off school for the a while, I need a new PC for them to do their work... I am a newbie so apologies for stupid questions! Something with...
1) a small case as it will be moving room to room.
2) will run Office 365
3) has a SSD...always seem to have HD issues!
4) built in wifi
5) will let them surf internet and watch YouTube etc.
6) Youngest wants to play Roblox on it.

Could anyone recommend a spec? Was hoping for a budget under 500 pounds...already have monitor / keyboard etc.

You can play Roblox on a laptop. My younger brother loves roblox. He plays on a I5 8500U with Intel UHD 620. The laptop wasn’t meant for games and was £750. I think you should go for a laptop

I would go with an off the shelf laptop to be honest. Anything custom built isn't going to be particularly good at the £500 mark, but mass produced laptops will be at a decent level for what you are looking for.

If you can get any laptop with a proper GPU on it (even one of the M GPUs) it will handle what you are asking for easily :)
