Okay so i'm a complete newb when it comes to the world of PC gaming as i've been a console player all my life but want to move over to the PC.
I have no idea what any of the parts that go into the PC mean so it's useless me trying to pick what i want to have.
My budget would be up to 1200 GBP any reccomendations?

@Mozza161 Do you need peripherals (mouse/keyboard) and a monitor within that budget too? What sort of monitor are you looking at?

This thread might provide some guidance but I'm sure someone will be along shortly and can suggest a spec.

Okay so a bit of an update I have the keyboard and mouse already (I bought a Mac quite a few years ago) so will use them.
And I reckon that i could spend up to £1600 (more than I originally thought).
One of the main games I want to play is Black ops 3 as I love zombies and want to start playing all the custom maps

This is pretty much the same as my setup I received earlier in the month.

Nursemorth, I only get around 100FPS on Call of Duty Warzone on medium settings. Does that sound about right?

Thank you.

Yes, that would be about right. COD is a very poorly optimised game, if you're trying to run it at full settings, it just won't work, you have to optimise it, there are a lot of settings that you can adjust that will improve performance significantly without lowering graphics too much.
