To start simply, have you put the graphics settings for the games up to max and enabled all the options? Don't think sims3 has great gfx anyway and ffxiv make sure you run the config period first, you can't change gfx in game. Whack the resolution up and enable all options again. Don't forget to save.
Poor quality/resolution is the problem. It's actually like playing a pc with no graphics card, I remember trying to play games on my old pc when I was a kid lol. But the performance is very good, no lag. If I can't fix the problem myself I will get someone to come over to see what they can do. If you guys can make a tutorial on how to max out the graphics card that will be great. Thank you!
Many games have their own options for graphics settings, like what resolution you want and various other bits and pieces, each game will have it's own options and will need to be set separately.
Drivers are already on the pc, maybe I should try updating them. If it helps, when I start the pc the motherboard I believe shows a message at the beginning "No any device found!" (i think).
uninstall nvidia drivers with driver sweeper. Restart you pc and then install drivers from the pcs cd. When you do that prolly ur pc will need restart again. If this wont fix it then update to the newest drivers.
Post here results.
First I will update drivers see if it improves if not I will look inside pc before uninstalling them. I believe that Phoenix is right about it being run onboard graphics.
Is the cable plugged into the very lowest DVI port? If not, your using your onboard. If you hadn't said no device found, I would of jumped to the conclusion that your running the game settings on a low resoloution.
