Sorry, I've got a 6500X, but I specified all Corsair QX iCUE Lin fans, so didn't get to see what would have been installed (plus mine didn't come with any from Corsair as it was a send-in-your-own).

But the PCS offering for the 6500X does mention a single rear fan is included - nothing else though, as that would be the RGB version.

Thanks mate, I'll have to reach out to pcs to confirm the extra fan and either change it to rgb or add it. Do I need 3 fans on the bottom aswell or is that overkill?

There are no bottom fan slots on the 5000X, although there are 3 more on the side...as shown in the below...but you don't NEED them.

I thought there was a shroud/airguide fitted if you don't have the side fans?

Personally I think there should be some RGB fans on the PSU and there seems to be a gap for another RGB fan in front of the PSU shroud - and maybe fit some fans externally in a push/pull configuration.

I think there is, but the gap between the motherboard and front fans always looks so big that it feels like the space needs to be filled.
