custom loop is the liquid cooling system you've chosenI’ll have a read now and I don’t even know what you mean by custom loop. I want the pc to be able to game at a high level really
Closed loop offers no improvement for gaming, is extremely expensive and you'll need to send it for flushing every year which costs around £100 and you'll be without the PC for a month or so while it's done, unless you do it yourself. It's a major cost and effort related issue for zero return. And they do look good
As said, it doesnt offer any improvement over an AIO. It's not meant for gaming rigs, only for high end render stations s or scientific data processorsThe other reason is because I live in a caravan which I’m the winter is nice a cool but in the summer it can get a bit warm
Right okay I hear youAs said, it doesnt offer any improvement over an AIO. It's not meant for gaming rigs, only for high end render stations s or scientific data processors
Now if you’re able to provide your budget, we’ll be able to get you up and running with a system for your moneyRight okay I hear you
£3k is the sort of price can go over a littleNow if you’re able to provide your budget, we’ll be able to get you up and running with a system for your money
Well this should do nicely and comes in at £2510£3k is the sort of price can go over a little
I’ve already got to monitor as used it on my Xbox. But open to opinions I am a competitive call of duty player so would like it to work really high FPS etc just want a good setupDo you already have the MSI monitor as if not, we could probably fit a far better one to match the build?
yeah there's about £500 from the budget to play with 😁Do you already have the MSI monitor as if not, we could probably fit a far better one to match the build?
Do you actually play competitively as in for a Team?I’ve already got to monitor as used it on my Xbox. But open to opinions I am a competitive call of duty player so would like it to work really high FPS etc just want a good setup
I find competitively im better at 1440p then I was at 1080p as targets are more clear at distance and easier to spotDo you actually play competitively as in for a Team?
Have you experienced high refresh? If you've been on console all this time, the max refresh you've ever experienced will be 60Hz, but often even 30Hz. 144Hz is a significant difference to console, over that there's very little gain even for the professionals. There's a reason why pros are paid multiple million dollars per match, like any competition level, they actually are superhuman and have reactions and eyes far more sensitive than any of us.
The time considerations with various refresh rates
A different take on monitor refresh rates (and the actual fact why 60hz to 144hz is the biggest jump and 144hz to 240hz not so much) When we talk about refresh rates, we talk about a frequency in which the monitor refreshes the image on screen every second. We refer to that as hertz (hz). So...www.pcspecialist.co.uk
Most humans can't appreciate any difference over about 120Hz, you hear a lot of nonsense on YouTube which is by "influencers" being promoted by paid ad spots. They have no idea of tech and don't understand that what they're saying is complete garbage.
The difference between 1080p 144Hz and 1080p 240Hz is marginal for a few, and non existant for most.
The difference between 1080p 240Hz and 1440p 144hz is huge, with 1440p being a far more enjoyable experience visually. 1080p is not really supported anymore outside of extreme budget systems and competition level where graphics aren't important.
